Shaka – Private Charter in Jupiter, FL
Create your own perfect day on the water on a private charter! Shaka, the newest and largest boat in the PonTiki fleet, is a floating event venue. Shaka has all of the PonTiki amenities and fun, including a full bathroom and couches, and it can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests. Book your charter today and plan the ideal beach party.
All private charters include a captain and complimentary beverages. We have soda and water on board, as well as beer and wine for adults who are 21 years of age or older.
What to (and What Not to) Bring Onboard:
- Refreshments & Alcohol
Every PonTiki cruise is stocked with complimentary refreshments, including water, club soda, sodas, kids juice packs, draft beer, non-alcoholic beer, and wine. While you are welcome to bring your own refreshments, including beer and wine, please remember that PonTiki’s alcohol licensing strictly prohibits any hard liquor on the boats. If you bring any hard liquor on board, the boat is unable to depart.
- Food & Snacks
We don’t provide food, but we have relationships with many catering companies and restaurants in the area that are happy to provide for you, so please ask us about those options. You may bring food and snacks, but please make sure they are in containers with lids due to the sometimes windy conditions on the water and to prevent litter flying off the boat.
The boat has coolers with ice where you may store limited amounts of food or refreshments. You are allowed to bring your own coolers on board, but please know that we do have cooler space available and additional coolers are probably not necessary.
Dogs are welcome on the Shaka under the following circumstances: All dogs must be in a crate while onboard and while the boat is underway. They are allowed out of their crate once PonTiki has reached a sandbar, where they can be released outside of the boat. Dogs are not allowed to roam free on the boat due to both safety and hygiene issues.
- Beach Stuff
We provide footballs, frisbees, a golf pitching wedge with foam practice golf balls, and more. You are encouraged to bring towels and sunscreen, but we ask that you please refrain from aerosol (spray) sunscreen, as it gets onto everything (including food, couches, walls, and our staff!) when sprayed, and it generally causes a mess onboard. Thank you for understanding.
